"Swimming With Sea Lions - Scenes From the Galapagos, an Installation"

This is a series of 16 oil paintings of various sizes and shapes, installed in a room consisting of 5 walls, a painted floor and painted ceiling. Each individual canvas depicts an aspect of underwater life. Viewed together they give a feeling of what it is like to be underwater with the beautiful creatures and landscape of the Galapagos Islands. All pieces are oil on canvas, mounted on shaped boxes which extend different distances from the walls. Some are tilted at different angles. The total installation fits into a space approximately 9'x11'x9 1/2', not including an entry hallway.
